Responding to the Government's demands to tackle the surge in energy prices

Many industrialists did not wait for the surge in electricity prices to invest in an energy management system

At the government's request, tackling the surge in energy prices

Qualisteo did not wait for the surge in energy prices and the Government's demands to help professionals, and in particular industrialists, reduce their energy bill by 10%. Since its creation in 2010, the Nice-based start-up has championed energy efficiency with one objective in mind: the best energy is the energy you do not consume.

Failing to monitor your company's energy consumption is a mistake

"We did not wait for the energy crisis to be energy-efficient — last year, our clients saved an average of 9.87% on their energy bill," says Elodie Bondi, CEO of Qualisteo. "We work on savings without investment by identifying free saving opportunities, which represent an average of 10% savings achieved in 3 months thanks to our technology, which deploys extremely quickly." Today, electricity prices are exploding and, as Qualisteo points out, "it has almost become a management mistake on the part of business owners not to have an energy monitoring and control system in order to reduce the bill as quickly as possible."

Implementing smart metering systems

To enable its clients to save money, Qualisteo installs smart metering systems that provide real-time visualisation of consumption and identification of savings opportunities. It is these systems and the artificial intelligence algorithms they contain that were recognised by the European Innovation Prize.

A sector in development

The Côte d'Azur-based company has experienced exponential growth since the beginning of 2022, with an even stronger acceleration since the summer, directly linked to the unprecedented rise in energy costs. Undeterred, Qualisteo has decided to triple its floor space, double its workforce and increase its production capacity in order to meet demand.

And Qualisteo has no intention of stopping there. "We are increasingly exporting our solution — today, more than 30% of our revenue is generated outside France," says Elodie Bondi. "We are also considering opening offices abroad within 12 months to meet the demands of our international clients."
