EVA: Smart meter for energy demand management
Qualisteo is working on EVA, a research and development project aimed at designing a smart sub-meter.

The objective is to develop an innovative technological research project for designing a smart meter capable of revolutionising the business model of energy demand management. The objective of the EVA project led by Qualisteo is to enable the large-scale adoption of a technology dedicated to energy efficiency.
The cornerstone of the energy management system
A genuine energy management system in the sense of the ISO 50001 standard, and equipped with smart-grid communication capabilities, the solution developed through this project makes it possible to obtain:
- A complete energy map of buildings based on past invoices and a remote audit carried out following installation and the first detailed measurements.
- Energy-saving recommendations focused on simple actions accessible without investment. Based on our experience, savings of 15 to 30% can be generated within a few weeks and sustained through a simple process of monitoring detailed consumption.
- Detailed dashboards and synthetic indicators, along with the implementation of KPI monitoring.
This project is part of a global energy transition approach:
- A significant reduction in energy consumption of 15 to 30% in professional buildings and, outside France, in CO2 emissions. Actions on electricity and other utilities (gas, water, etc.)
- Sustaining initial savings over time, establishing a continuous optimisation process
- Committing companies to the ISO 50001 approach in anticipation of regulatory obligations
This project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund of the European Union.
